SO incredibly proud of Jazmin who delivered the student graduation address at the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service graduation!

Her inspiring speech (see a snippet in third slide) emphasizing the importance of public service, civic engagement at all levels, and new leadership from younger generations - has never been more timely and needed.

Jazmin graduated with a Masters in Public Administration and was also a Bohnett Public Service Fellow (which provided her a full tuition scholarship).

Jazmin, I could not be more proud of all you have achieved in your 27 years, through your heartfelt dedication and hard work, and all the positive change I know you will go on to do in the future. You and your whole graduating class give me hope!

Happy to share my latest @ForbesWomen piece where I interview Amanda Litman, cofounder and president of Run for Something, about her newly released book ‘When We’re In Charge: The Next Generation’s Guide to Leadership’ – a first-of-its-kind guidebook for millennials and Gen Z on how to lead differently.

She shares thoughts on how young leaders can create a “compassionate and effective” workplace culture, the importance of having diverse teams, the surge in young people wanting to run for office, what gives her hope right now and more (link in bio.)

Thanks @ms_magazine for uplifting some of the important takeaways from my recent conversation about "Women’s Rights in Post-Roe America" at Woodstock Bookfest with these three incredible and knowledgeable women: Jessica Valenti, Clara Bingham, and Jamia Wilson.

They provide vital insights on the current state of reproductive rights, legislative trends to be aware of, the stakes of this moment, actions we can take, and much more. Link in bio.

In my latest @ForbesWomen piece, I interview three pro-democracy leaders – LaTosha Brown, cofounder of Black Voters Matter, Monica Riley, executive director of The Alabama Alliance, and Pamela Shifman, president of Democracy Alliance – who gathered in Selma, Alabama, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Bloody Sunday and, as Shifman put it, “to reground in the courage and the boldness of racial justice and civil rights movement leaders, past and present.”

In the interview, they share insights on what we can learn from history and the importance of women uniting in this moment to protect our rights and freedoms.

Swipe through for some of their powerful quotes, and read the interview at link in bio.

I was honored to moderate the "Women’s Rights in Post-Roe America" panel at the Woodstock Bookfest on April 5 where I was joined by three brilliant, award-winning writers: Jessica Valenti, Clara Bingham, and Jamia Wilson.

We discussed the rights and freedoms that are under attack, uplifted stories and information often left out of mainstream media, and looked at ways we can take action to protect our rights in this critical moment.

You can watch the full panel discussion at this link (also in bio): https://youtu.be/weLqw_pLbaI

Many thanks to @Martha.Frankel and @woodstockbookfest for making this happen and to @jessicavalenti, @jamiaawilson, and @clarabinghamauthor for sharing your important and powerful insights!
